The Recreation, Park and Tourism (RPT) program within the College of Health and Human Performance at the University of Florida is seeking applicants for a Ph.D. assistantship in sustainable tourism and recreation starting August 2017. The doctoral student will conduct research in the area of sustainable tourism and recreation and work directly with Dr. Jin-Won Kim. The Ph.D. assistantship includes a salary of $13,000/year for 3 years plus a full tuition waiver and supplemented health insurance.

The School of Hotel and Tourism Management (SHTM) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) invites PhD applications to the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS), PhD Scholarship, and Teaching Postgraduate Studentship (TPS) Scheme, for admission in 2017/18.  Successful PhD applicants will receive a monthly assistantship in terms of stipend or salary to support their studies.  Recipients of assistantship are required to provide support for teaching and scholarly activities at SHTM for six hours per week on a 52-week basis per year.
